I'm a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience building reliable, scalable web applications and data platforms. I focus on pragmatic architecture, clean code and operational excellence — from designing backend services and data pipelines to shipping usable frontends and automation that keeps systems healthy in production.

What I do

At Comscore, I work on high-volume data processing pipelines (handling over 100 trillion requests per month), create CI/CD and automation workflows, and implement monitoring to ensure availability and performance. I take end-to-end responsibility: understanding requirements, selecting practical tools, and delivering maintainable solutions.

My background includes full-stack work with Node.js, Drupal and modern JavaScript frameworks. I’ve led API and CMS projects, optimized performance and caching, and introduced code quality and CI/CD practices across teams.

Approach & values

I value clarity, collaboration and shipping with quality. I balance pragmatic delivery with long-term maintainability, and I prefer small, measurable improvements over big, risky changes. Clear communication — from requirements to code reviews — is a core part of how I work.

Outside of work

I enjoy experimenting with homelab projects, following open-source developments and exploring new cafés in the Netherlands. My earlier work in event marketing gave me a practical sense for planning and team coordination — skills I still use when delivering software.
